TAMS students are UNT students and can apply for UNT scholarships and external scholarships as a university student.
UNT Scholarships
UNT compiles many departmental scholarships into the Eagle Scholarship Portal (ESP). Completion of the General Scholarship Application (GSA) in the ESP will automatically match students to many of the opportunities they are eligible for.

External Scholarships
As university students, TAMS students may apply for external scholarships not given by TAMS or UNT if they meet the application criteria. These scholarships take time and research by the student and family to find. Locating scholarships can be challenging. Here are a few places to start searching:
- Ask local community businesses, professional groups, radio stations, rotary clubs, etc. There may be a scholarship that's gone unawarded for years.
- Tell family, friends, co-workers, parents' employers, teachers, and neighbors that you're looking for scholarships - and that no scholarship is too small. Someone might know of an award through his or her employer or some other avenue that you were unaware of.

- Other online scholarship portals- Warning: No reputable organization or website will ever ask you to pay for providing scholarship information. Do not pay a person or website to search for scholarships. You may not get enough funding to pay for their fees, let alone pay for school.
