We will continue to accept applications unil May 16, 2025, and process completed applications
until May 30, 2025, or the TAMS Class of 2027 is complete, whichever comes first. If you are taking the April ACT or the May SAT, please submit everything else as
soon as possible and indicate the date you are taking the test on your application.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE TAKEN THE TEST TO SUBMIT YOUR MATERIALS.

First Review of Complete Applications Applicants to TAMS need to submit a completed file—the Residency Questionnaire, TAMS Application Profile and all supporting documents to have a complete file for this deadline. |
December 2, 2024 |
Early Summer Research Program Application Opens Students admitted to TAMS will receive access to the Early Summer Research Program (ESRP) application. Applications to ESRP will be accepted until all scholarships are awarded (approximately 15). |
January 10, 2025 |
Application Deadline for Early Research Applicants must have a complete file—that is, Application Profile and completed supporting documents, including an official SAT/ACT score—by this date in order to be considered for the Early Summer Research Program if they are admitted to TAMS prior to the ESRP application deadline (TBA). |
January 17, 2025 |
Music Track Deadline Applicants to TAMS must submit a completed file—the Residency Questionnaire, TAMS Application Profile, and all supporting documents to have a complete file for this deadline. **NOTE: Applicants to the TAMS Music track must submit a completed TAMS file and must submit the separate College of Music application and audition by Saturday, January 13, 2024. |
Spring 2025 |
The TAMS Admissions team will review complete applications continuously until all available spots are filled*, but interested students should not wait to begin submitting the Residency Questionnaire, the TAMS Application Profile, and the other required supporting documents so that you have a complete file. Applicants taking the SAT or the ACT must (a) request that College Board and/or ACT send an official score report to UNT (not TAMS) when registering for the test(s), and (b) submit an unofficial score report to tamsadmissions@unt.edu when it becomes available online. |
