Is there a rehearsal?
Graduation information will be covered during regular seminar time on March 30, 2020. Attendance is required.
Are tickets required for entry into the ceremony?
Yes. Each student is guaranteed 4 tickets. If additional tickets are needed, please COMPLETE THIS FORM by February 27 and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Students will be notified of the additional tickets allocated to them, if any, the week of March 2.
There will be an overflow room at the event that will be streaming the ceremony, and we will be live-streaming the event on Facebook and Periscope.
Students can pick up their tickets (with their ID) on Friday, May 1 from 1-3pm in McConnell. If they are unable to pick up tickets during that time, they may pick them up in Sage Hall (with their ID), Suite 320, on May 4-7 between the hours of 8am-5pm.
Caps & Gowns
Students will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony without a cap and a gown. TAMS caps and gowns must be the UNT green color.
Pre-order for caps and gowns can be made through the Jostens website (click here) in the spring. Pre-order pick up and stock will be available in the UNT bookstore beginning in the spring. The price will be around $40.99 plus tax for cap, gown and tassel.
Graduation announcements are available for purchase on the Jostens website HERE.
Alternatively, many people choose to design their own announcements through other vendors. The choice is yours!

Traffic to Denton from the DFW area can be congested. Please plan your trip accordingly.
How long does the ceremony last?
Historically, the ceremony has lasted around 2 hours.
We are working to make the ceremony as meaningful as possible in the shortest amount of time.
Are there graduation speakers?
There will be a student speaker, as well as a TAMS alumni keynote speaker.
TAMS has no knowledge of, nor sponsors, any post-graduation parties. If you have questions or concerns about such an event, please call the Student Life Office at 940-565-3603.
Many details are still being planned, and may not yet be available.
If you have any questions regarding graduation, please email Miranda Holland.
