Student presents at the American Association of Neuropathologists (AANP) Conference

Sundarrajan Chadru, class of 2016 presented at the AANP conference in Denver Colorado this past June. The study analyzed survival time among brain cancer patients and and identified significant factor affecting survival from 2000 to 2012. The apstract for this study was publised in the June 2015 Journal of Neuropathology and Experimental Neurology.

Student to present at World Forum on Advanced Materials

Until now, researchers and professionals in the materials science field have only assumed that as a material becomes more brittle, it also becomes less tough. University of North Texas researchers have confirmed that assumption and will present their work at the 23rd annual World Forum on Advanced Materials in Lincoln, Nebraska, in May.
TAMS students, along with students in the College of Education help teach kids computer coding skills. Code Camp, a UNT Innovation Greenhouse initiative recently received $20,000 from Verizon to help further the program.
