Manus Award Nominations

Dr. Manus Donahue was the 1st Academic Dean for the TAMS program.  Dr. Donahue supported all aspects of student life so much so that he would deliver special Classroom Biology lectures during summer orientations so parents and students would experience the speed and complexity of university lectures.  He would help move boxes up and down the stairs of McConnell hall during move in day.  During the winter holidays, Dr. Donahue would dress as Santa Claus and take photos with students inside the Mac Cafe.  One only needs to review the past TAMS yearbooks to see Dr. Donahue smiling and working alongside TAMS students.  After receiving their diploma while walking across stage, it was not uncommon for a student to return and give Dr. Donahue a hug for all the support and sage wisdom Dr. Donahue offered.  For these and many more reasons the "Manus Award" was created to honor Dr. Donahue.  The Manus symbolizes the importance of student activities and the long lasting benefit.

Please fill out your nominations below. Each student is only allowed to fill out this form once.
